To best match the profile as described in our Mission Statement, the ideal applicant will have been assessed as gifted or highly-gifted, will have been diagnosed with a learning issue or issues we are designed to accommodate, and will possess an emotional/behavioral profile that will contribute to a nurturing, supportive environment.
SKV admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
The application form can be downloaded from the school website and Rs. 500 towards the same may be added to the registration fee. Alternatively the form can be collected from the School Office. This form is also used for registration.
The parents or guardians of prospective students should register the name of the child along-with the mention of the class and academic year to which admission is sought. Children are admitted to SKV Vidhyaashram. Admission is based on an Aptitude Analysis held the preceding November, in all major cities in India. As there are a large number of applicants, priority is given to those who register first.
The Application Form, duly filled, along with the Registration Fee should be sent to the Principal at the earliest. However, registration does not guarantee admission. For admission to Standard XI, the registration is open till 31st January and the interaction will be held in the first week of April. The Registration Fee is neither refundable nor transferable.
Aptitude Analysis Interaction
Prior to admission, students are expected to take up an Aptitude Analysis. Parents will be informed well in advance, provided the name of the child has been registered with the School. Admission will be based strictly on the performance of the student in the Aptitude Analysis. The Aptitude Analysis for Classes V and VI will comprise Mathematics and English of one hour duration each. For classes VII to IX, the assessment will comprise Mathematics, English and General Science of one hour duration each. The assessment will be strictly according to the C.B.S.E. syllabus of the previous class. Prior to admission, the School management may interact with the child along with the parents.

The school provides flexi boarding for students from class-III upward to suit the requirements of students and their families.
All boys are able to seek advice from the teaching staff, the Wellness Centre and the school counsellor living on the school campus throughout the seven day week. Boys discover that they have much more time to study and pursue their wider interests. There is no wasted time travelling to learn Sport, Art, Music, Drama and benefit from Careers Guidance as well as other necessary university and college entrance preparation.
The students availing full boarding option stay with the school throughout the entire three terms and visit their homes only during the vacation.
The students availing weekly boarding option stay with school during the week days and visit their homes during week ends.
Students come from home everyday and go back in the evening. They have Break fast, Lunch and snacks in the school.
